I obviously mean you watch the price and sell once it drops below a certain price. A mental stop. Not sure why you’re bickering when I’m giving sound advice. I was a licensed broker.

My trailing stops are sell GTC's I have set stringing out on the uptrend. Like today traders had them set like Claymore Mines all the way up to a big volatility stop at .068. After overhead resistance fell on the seller flush the clock ran out so the buyers and sellers gave things a rest intending to resume the game next week after the intraday MM excess inventory dip.

That has happened to me so many times I don't put stop losses.
