Have you even paid any attention of what is happening in the surgical robotic space - it's all going that way, what do you think that hospitals will continue to use VCR's and CD's - Hospitals are in the transformation phase, surgical robotic procedures are in their infancy - the adoption is going to accelerate rapidly - IoT and software communication and interface throughout the hospital - Minimal incisions, floor space, room and patient turnover, minimal hospital stays, all are huge factors for hospitals to consider and why in order to compete with the MARKET LEADER ISRG - a competitor will need Multiport, Single port and Endoluminal.

Unless you know more then ISRG when it comes to Robotic surgery which is highly unlikely then in order to compete with them, they will need to improve on their platforms and interface and surgeon training.

This is not true and the reasoning is well laid out in the case study from MIT on robotics, click here for link. Harvard also released a paper on this topic and you can find it here. You are welcome.
