Yes, Prenvar-20 is worth getting for people who previously had Prevnar-13 (unless there is some patient-specific contraindication); the only problem is that Prevnar-20 might not be reimbursed for patients who received Prevnar-13. The CDC’s ACIP committee may have some influence in this regard, but they are not meeting until October.
