I myself would have No Problem using it on Car Seats, but I would rent a carpet cleaning machine to extract the used 1000+ out of the fabric, or at least some white terrie cloths,1 wet and 1 dry to wipe out the residue in the fabric. The portable Carpet Cleaning Machine is the way to go it will extract the residue from the fabric, while cleaning it. GO WNBD
