#438 RE: eigthwonda #437

eigthwonda,

>>Someone knows something and aint telling or wat?<<

I know a guy way up on the third floor and he don't know nothing. People always think that "somebody up there knows something."

Ethanol and some other alternative energy stocks have been on a tear. Not like before but on a run nevertheless.

The vast majority of ethanol producers in this country use corn - not all, but the vast majority. We all know that corn squeezings are only a stopgap measure on the way to the future of biofuels. IMO waste, and particularly wood waste, is where the future really is rather than any crops grown for the purpose, even those taking minimum care grown on marginal land.

That is where XNL has always claimed to be headed.

Despite the lies of Mark Cuban and hordes of true believers as well as the extravagant pumping by XNL itself, perhaps there is a future for XNL - or at least for its technology.

You think XNL has problems, how about CETH.OB?

>>THOUSAND OAKS, CA--(MARKET WIRE)--Jan 16, 2007 -- Daniel K. Moscaritolo and Charles L. Christensen (the "Shareholders"), shareholders of Convergence Ethanol, Inc. (OTC BB:CETH.OB - News) (the "Company"), today announced that they have taken action to compel the Company to hold an annual meeting of shareholders.

Despite clear provision in the bylaws that annual meetings are to be held on February 18 of each year, the Board of Directors of the Company has failed to call an annual meeting for the past three years, thus avoiding a shareholder vote on the election of directors. The current Board of Directors consists of only two directors, neither of whom has ever been elected or approved by shareholders of the Company. As of January 11, 2007, the Company has not delivered notice of an annual meeting for 2007, even though a written demand for a shareholder's meeting was sent by certified mail to the Company on December 30, 2006 by the Shareholders...<<

Those "shareholders" were principals of the company. While CETH has not participated in the run for the moon - or more likely the cliff - because of the infighting and more, a glimpse at the company shows it is quite sophisticated. Its brag that it can surely produce cellulosic ethanol economically is not necessarily the stuff Mark Cuban purveys.

Just a matter of time I think.

Who the survivors, let alone winners, will be is beyond my purview.

Obviously some think one might be XNL.

My guess is that the volume is from frightened shorts covering.

Best, Terry
