Well kind of a rough way to put it but completely 100% accurate. Bordynuik and his family are scam artists and they took a number of people to the cleaners.

Looking back I never actually centered on the exact phrasing in relationship to how to be a scam artist like Bordynuik.

The actual term 'magic catalyst' has been used so many times I never once thought about that Bordynuik could have called it a million different things but settled on the term 'magic'.

He knew that it was catchy, it wasn't near descriptive enough, and it perks the ears up of anyone looking to be sucked in.

Magic.

Think about it. It's a batshittery perfect word to throw money at something if you really have no interest in truly wanting to know how something works.

It's magic.

Although while assigning that word Bordynuik struck gold as far as fooling many.....it is a really interesting word in that all magic essentially is to fool someone in one way or another.

The 'magic catalyst' really is perfectly named. It tricked people out of their money, and essentially hid the fact it was just an average catalyst used in pyrolysis all along.

Abracadabra.
