It’s the standard Hedgefund playbook on shorting biotechs. Do what it takes to cast some doubt on good news, and drive the SP negative. Then the typical New York mentality of shoot first ask questions later kicks in. It works really well for biotech stocks, even when stellar data is reported.
I don’t see a news leak. Today’s news was very predictable. I think the stock would have moved higher if Leo had waited until next week to announce the final recruitment. A sell off was inevitable whenever the news came but I never believe it until I see it. Maybe it won’t happen this time? It always does unless the news isn’t precidcted or expected.
