You should have converted your preferreds to commons late last year, when they were about double the price they are today, around $11.

Fortunately, I already converted my preferreds to commons several years ago, and got a MUCH better "conversion factor" to commons
The conversion factor continues to decline.

Right now, 1 preferred is worth about 2.86 commons. When I converted a few years ago, I got around 5 commons per preferred.

Since before the conservatorship the commons were worth MORE than preferreds, you should convert now. Or, wait and watch the commons catch up to and pass the preferreds again, as they are trending that way.

Please answer "who" is gonna give you a "favorable conversion"? Scotus? FHFA? Calabria? Warren Buffet? The mailman? I doubt that any of those plan on giving their money away, try the lottery, your chances are better.

So that means it could go to $5?
