amc sells movie tickets. they are not tech. they are not going to revolutionize movie making or the film industry. they are not software with high profit margins. this is more reddit nonsense that will take a ton of people's money in the end and leave a lot of bagholders just like gamestock. only this time, the reddit crew will play the game mostly among themselves and other naive investors. institutions are liquidating their positions and will leave amc holders with a stock that will reflect what it should trade at maybe in 5 or 10 years. it will hurt, but more foolish investors will learn not to gamble to frivolously. when you look up and all the institutions are basically out, nobody will be around to drive up the pps.
