Yeah but there recent rise was well after they were known entities. GameStop had the big jump because of reddit and because every gamer over 30 knows GameStop. And the rise up from pennies from any unknown stock to $40 does not happen in the span of 2 months. It took Microsoft 14 years before they even got close to $40 pps from the IPO in 1986 at mere pennies. It took 5 years for them to break $1.
