Just a bit of amplification on your excellent post.
It tracks ALL the posts on DECN board.

...and weights them by UNIQUE users.
So multiple posts from the same user have little effect on the ranking. (So have this one on me!)

And it is the Change in number of posts that gets ranked most.
So since DECN has been as quiet as the tomb of late, a few people showing up to ponder and mark the impending doom that will follow on from tomorrows deadline was bound to get flagged there!

You can try and pass this off as good news if you like, of course. Such desperation is such a fitting look for DECN!
