You do understand that there is no way to pull this off legally. Right?!? Controlled substances require a person to person identify verification. Per federal standards. And drones in most areas require a registered flight plan. You get this. Right?!?
Just park the freaking car by your client and let them walk up or walk it to their door. The concept of flying a package twenty feet is beyond stupid.
We already know that city governments are totally against delivering drugs by drone because of the safety issues and fcc rulings. This may change but probably not for years. Right now it supposedly has to be line of sight. The tech is here right now to send something programmed across the city, but the cities are tight about liabilities.
And if by some miracle UPS could deliver this way, you could never compete.
The only reason I can see doing so is to avoid some sort of illegality.
