Hey Turbo, I don't actually believe you're a wennie, but if you like lemonade, you're a good candidate for daiquiris, as made at La Floridita in Havana. Hemingway's daiquiri: 60 ml white rum, 30 ml each of standard bar syrup, lime juice and orange liqueur. You can chill it with ice, but not shaved i.e. frozen (yuk).
La Floridita claims: to have invented the daiquiri, that Hemingway was a regular, and that he once downed 12 of the drinks on the premises. There is a life-sized bronze of the great man at the bar. I went ages ago on the excuse of being an accredited journalist. From what I've read, Cuba has changed not for the better.
I don't much like mojitos, but Hemingway is also credited with popularizing that drink at Le Bodeguita del Medio. That bar has a wall of plaques signed by famous folk. One was written by Chile's Salvador Allende. Reading that one gave me a chill as though I was living in history.
Sadly, I think your favorite brew is outside my time zone.
