No, I'm instructing you on its proper usage. "was" is not 1st person present subjunctive, nor is it 1st person past subjunctive.
You stated that my usage was incorrect. I have shown it was not.
No, in fact, you yourself have shown it to be incorrect, if unwittingly. I merely confirmed that fact.
I have endured you long enough.
Long enough to lose the argument. It's so much easier to say, "oops, you were right."
