It is in reference to public officials. Their finances ARE significant (or at least should be) to the people they represent. I wonder why politicians almost universally show their financial interests, all, that is, except the shitgibbon... what is he hiding, the interest he is paying to russians through the deutsche bank? Or that he is a total fraud and not even wealthy? A guy in hock to the russian mob might have an interest in not disclosing it... he probably still wouldn't lose you cult members but there are people that are not in the cult that care about morality and ethics.
