hey gll, welcome back from the storm!!!!!! I know, in the USA, sometimes we don;t realize how good we have it. A couple of months ago, I stumbled onto a website that compared the costs of a gallon of gas, around the world--we in the U>S> use more than any other country, and pay less than any other country! About the same time, there was a guy on cnbc, or msnbc or fox or one of those channels, that told us the following:
Riding a bicycle was detrimental to our environment! You can bet I sat up on that one! Why?
As in other countries, when the people ride bikes, or walk, instead of drive, they stay healthier and live longer. Any 'savings' in gasoline and energy consumption is a short term proposition. If people live longer they are just spreading out the number of years they will be consuming--so the net affect is that each person will STILL use the same amount of energy, in the long run! hahhahahahha
The massive effort by ALL countries to seek out alternative and smart energy, IMO, is the best thing we could be doing for ourselves....and IF TKO is a part of that, we all are going to be very very happy....
