This board really lights up when someone who has not been "indoctrinated" by the Leftist "academic" world contributes their opinion. And what is most enlightening to my friends and associates that watch this board (they would never post here because they think I suffer from masochistic tendencies) is how quickly they devolve into profane, foaming at the mouth, prima donnas.

It would be so much more encouraging to witness their ability to measure someone's argument and discuss. Instead--the tribalist need to declare themselves as "card-carrying" Leftists adorned with the mantle of supreme virtue overrides true thought.

But when you get into advanced age, I hear you get set into your ways and thoughts and you become a willing prisoner of your nostalgic past when the 60's and 70's coming of age was grand.
