OT: chaos--there is a shortage of silicon as well....in researching solar panel stuff, there are a couple of companies that have figured out how to use nano-doses of silicon, companred to most solar window companies...and of course, those are the ones that are taking off...the technology is looking for two things--how to reduce the amount of silicon and still make it work effectively...and what they can use instead of silicon that will work...
