Short interest holding steady at 37 million and it comes at 13 days to cover... Days to cover have more than doubled now.

my response:
I don't understand. 37 million share are being held as Short.
And 13 days to cover, but all the Shorts did not come in short at the same time, so do you mean that each person who shorts, has 13 from their date when they shorted, to cover? Was there a recent change to how many days shorts have to cover? Or does it vary from time to time?

That’s not a good thing, correct. Longer the time to cover the safer the shorter feels? Don’t short stock so trying to learn.

So I've been watching the short interest throughout the day:

26.2 % 800,000 2021-05-12 10:30:03
26.2 % 550,000 2021-05-12 10:15:03

They are returning it right as they drop (assuming it's the same individual or group) the price but we're barely at 1mm current volume. The 12 day cover is a long cover. Double edge knife here though. It just tells me that whoever is shorting really thinks NP is all talk and no walk.

I am VERY interested when a PR (8K) drops and they have to cover. Curious how high the price would go, or would they double down and short again.

Interesting...
