A worthy example happened to Oregon's second wealthiest man in 1986. He issued a 500,000$ Bank Draft; a check. It bounced. Why? He forgot that the 500,000$ was in his other US Bank account.
What did US Bank do. They laughed. They told the recipient to call my friend. He did. Another check was issued and all went well. No Kidding.
A better question is why was that bank such a sticker for details over 100$.
My answer. That bank manager had a problem with a young man from another nation.
