There are not many stocks that fix the time frame Ted spoke about in his book. I still look for the formation but instead of 20 year base, most of them are formed in 5 years or even less time, One formation I have used to buy if what I call a curve pattern. Instead of a straight line descending, I like it when it forms a slow curve and as it begins to move upward is where I bought most of my stocks last year, which most of them I sold in only a matter of about 6 months or less. I also like triangles, even in stocks under $5. Of what value are rules if they are not followed. I have several stocks in my account that I have no clue why I bought them. Their chart, looking back, did not jump out at me. Live and learn.
