Step into Liquid is not performing well 11-weeks after it was launched. Not sure how NVI intends to reach $40MM in revenue over the next 12 months, even considering a duplication of its "US success" when it is released in the Southern Hemisphere. This isn't a glass half full or empty conversation - it's basic math and logic.

Another 30%+ decline in revenues, and now down to an avg of $949 per theater. SIL is definitely seasonal content - something that seemed to have escaped the marketing masterminds behind bringing the film to mkt at the end of the summer!

Although I don't bank of SIL helping fund the technology, and I am definitely in the camp that wishes RIM would disassociate themselves from the film altogether, perhaps it will at least cover the original costs. NVEI won't get their money back, they already took that money back in loans, but it should allow them to pay off what they borrowed against future proceeds and maybe... maybe cover a couple of months (1,2, perhaps 3) of operating expenses in 2004. Not banking on it funding the production of an ASIC. Don't believe that is at all realistic seeing how it has yet to do 1/10th of the projected over all (global, all revenue sources) revenue it was projected to do.

Bill it has gone down on Merck nearly $6.00 per share since I bought in a little over 2 weeks ago. And the news in that PR doesn't sound like it will start going back up any time soon.
