That is my understanding, Dancer.....I think this is a separate agreement from the "institutional funding, in the high 7 figure range," that Zach cites in the update linked below.
I say that, for one, because it isn't "high 7 figure," even with the additional warrant. And, it is something to occur overtime (possibly as late as December 31, 2021, I believe per the agreement's terms). I think the institutional funding will be structured differently. Plus, it hasn't been 30 days yet (from the April 12 PR update).
Also, in that update, Zach mentioned "discussions with a number of other interested and credible parties," so my take is that this is one of those "other" discussions that bore fruit. JMO, but I think this is unrelated to the core funding we are waiting on.
Happy to hear others' takes. Hopefully, we get a PR update on this.
Perhaps one of those "interested parties" mentioned in the last update is getting the jump on the other funding that's coming. Either way, it's a positive surprise and can't be the "high 7 figure" funding. Mr. Bair doesn't seem to play games like that.
