Pete, What if one buys and sells

and MLP before the distribution x-date

and therefore doesn't get any distribution?

I have found that I can make at least double the distribution amount

by buying and selling before the distribution

So if there are no distributions received by an MLP

does just the buying & selling of an MLP within an IRA

require paying annual taxes?
