I believe based on science over emotion it will be approved, but personally don't care either way.

They have a backer who can write a 17 million dollar check tomorrow.

They have a product that has an endless supply of customers.

They have a planet that is over run with waste, especially germ carrying medical waste.

We have a world wide pandemic that doesn't appear to be going away soon, even after vaccination, producing medical waste from sources you didn't get medical waste from in the past.

They have a national movement that is desperate to find a way to cleanly get rid of plastic.

I would feel more comfortable if I knew the solar panels were legit. Then there wouldn't feel so much pressure on MedRecycler being approved. As of now, I don't think they have their ducks in a row on the panels, and it feels like MedRecycler or bust here at the moment.
