And to your second point, hardly ANY people who've been vaccinated have died as a result of breakthrough cases of COVID:



And very few people have died as a result of reactions to the vaccines. They are extraordinarily safe. And extraordinarily effective.

Cases in India are through the roof chiefly because the authorities became complacent. They thought they had it under control early this year. And then there was a major Hindu festival. People gathered to celebrate, and it spread like wildfire. And now they're dying because the healthcare system doesn't have enough meds, and especially enough oxygen.

Mononucleosis? What does that have to do with anything? It was a sort of big deal when I was in high school and college in the 1960s, but I've heard practically nothing about it since. "Very ugly"? Kids are tired, have sore throats and swollen glands. They don't need to be hospitalized. It's treatable, and after awhile, it goes away.

And it is in no way related to COVID, for heaven's sake. It's caused by the Epstein-Barr virus. It's mostly spread through saliva. It isn't particularly serious.
