GREAT POST from Aandt!! Your key points are very true!!!
"Here are some of the things that I believe point towards better days ahead.
- Brett Rosen's involvement. Some don't like him, that's fine... but I think he is a net positive for PCTL. He is providing favorable funding when you look at the big picture. Is there a cost, yes... but alternatives are much worse.
- O&G - I believe this will result in contracts, possibly sooner than many think. HOCL has been documented and proven to be beneficial to the oil industry in other parts of the world. The limiting factor has always been production ability at high volume to meet demand. PCTL's technology has been able to produce HOCL with longer viability periods and at high volume. They also have expanded their production network such that they can produce fluid to fulfill large contracts, which was not possible previously.
Maverick- PCTL told us the Hydrolyte contract announced last fall was worth millions to the company. It's unfortunate that we did not get a revenue number, but I believe a conservative number would be in the 3-5 million range. That means a single contract beats 2020 revenue. And some simple examination of the 2020 numbers shows that very little (if any) appeared on the balance sheet for 2020. So that provides a floor for 2021 of already beating 2020 just from a single contract. Add on just one or two more large contracts (or multiple smaller ones) and 10M revenue is not that far fetched. We also have noticed that receivables factoring is happening on $812K of invoiced orders, that's a good start in Q1.
Ag- This has been talked about by PCTL going back to 2019. I believe something will come of this, and maybe soon. Some of the newer distributors are hinting at it. This is another of example of being proven around the world It is not a question of if HOCL will be useful, it's just a matter of regulatory approvals and getting product into the market. This also will provide sustainable fluid/machine demand.
Hospital- the new generation of machines we have seen the pictures of and we know are hitting the market. Several distributors are actively working to place machines which will lead to more placements in new territory.
UK- not sure what is going on there, yes it is disappointing that it is taking too long. But we are seeing movement, with PCTL now having documented ownership in PCT Europe. NTH Solutions is playing an active role in the NHS cleaning protocols. I still believe something will come of it.
Management changes- we have been catching hints from Rosen and others here that change is coming. This will be viewed as major positive by some here. What exactly is happening I do not know, but as they say "where there's smoke, there's fire"... I believe something is happening behind the scenes to make adjustments, which I believe will be good for the company.
So all that to say the threads may be scattered currently, but I believe they will come together in due time".
