#44209 RE: judgeybrown #44205

I do not KNOW anything. It all comes down to taking action or understanding an event(s) that occurs based on my observation (and my interpretation of it). Strait forward, we do not think alike. To either of us, how we see it is the right perspective - we take action accordingly.

Having said that, I am not one to be governed by 'how to do books'. I do use them for guidance and info I have not, but once read, I go my merry way. I develop what I call a 'feel'. So when I blame MMs, it is a feeling only, not a fact.

Just like today, my feeling is that MMs are using the means of stripping the current higher ask by creating a lower ask and providing a high share block to support it (until they see the opportunity to lower the pps again). Most often that existing block is then moved to a lower ask...on and on.

At the same time (don't be fooled that MMs are working independently), they actually sell to high bidders and attempt to keep the bid size down as well … moving the bid down as well as the ask.

To me, it seems obvious. To others, not so. But we all agree MMs do their job well in market making (I tend to call it manipulation myself)

The game for us is somehow being able to stay on top of what we see to benefit us in some manner to make a profit too (MMs don't take it all).
