Dr. Emanuel is an ethics specialist with an MD and a PhD in Political Philosophy. He had nothing to do with Brilacidin.

The article is about cancer drugs and doesn't have COVID, viral, or anything relevant to Brilacidin in it.

So, yes, it looks like a coincidence if you have made some kind of connection. Otherwise it just looks like an unrelated article featuring an unrelated doctor at one of the most prestigious US universities.
