Looking at several options, but would initially prefer to have a broker locally with same language / same standard currency and at least under EU bank protection rules without a lengthy acceptation process (which IB quite seems to have as I read some reviews, but that may be wrong). It also depends how the general stock market will develop for (smaller) private investors. What's a solid broker today, might be a fail tomorrow.
Anyway what I see, practically all brokers have each their own limitations and also many dissatisfied customers, not easy to make a clear decision yet. I should try some demo versions first from several suppliers to get a better feeling perhaps. No rush to change yet as my portfolio has not been transfered yet and my fee structure will remain for now, but will definitely keep my eyes open for better alternatives.
