Nobody could grow anything before 2017. Is is perfect? No! Do you spend as much time lobbying the government representatives who can change things about your displeasure as you do here? If you have a medical license you can grow enough to fulfill your prescription. You just can’t sell it. I know a guy who has a prescription for many grams a day. He grows a boatload of weed and nobody bothers him at all. The problems come when people say they are medical and then grow for the rec market. The government does not like competition. If you want to make money growing weed there is another system you go through. You want the rules to change elect better representatives. It begins and ends with us. We just have to work together.
I agree there should be nobody in prison for simple possession. That is an obscenity I have let my reps at each level of govt know about that on several occasions. Maybe if we all tell them at once it will help make a change. This is an election year they listen better. Making pot legal means following the rules. Tobacco farmers follow rules, wine makers follow rules. THC has an intoxicating effect so it is not like tomatoes. I know there are many patient who need large quantities of THC to manage symptoms and it has no effect on their ability but for rec, It should be no different than alcohol. Cbd should not be restricted at all. We have a long way to go. Trading weed stocks makes me money for the fight.
