Obviously the NIH nor the FDA saw the first 2 trials as failures, likely because the drug improved test scores once it was realized the impact of memantine. Everyone, including the market, is entitled to their opinion however, but they won't have any impact on potential drug approvals. I do assume the FDA and NIH can determine if a drug is a "scam" lol. SAVA traded at 2 bucks before its run to $125 based on 6 month cognitive improvement. That's the bar that any FDA will be looking for and we'll know next year the drug's impact at the six month mark.
