Leronlimab is the gold standard for safety. I believe this is why it was chosen by CytoDyn. Leronlimab was 100% safe with 1% anti-inflammatory properties. Since safety is so important, it was the perfect drug to promote for a greasy stock. Efficacy will be minimal but any small benefit can be promoted. And it's safe!
Pharmaceutical drugs have side effects. Drugs that work usually have fairly major side effects because they are having a big effect on the patient's system. A drug that is 100% safe probably doesn't have much efficacy because it really isn't doing much physiologically.
