I read the fact sheets on Moderna & Pfizer. I still wasn't sure. Then I had a conference with my Doc, whose judgement I really trust. He got COVID from a patient a year ago (I was unaware until he told me). Ended up in ICU and almost died. He told me given my age and several health issues, I would be playing with fire if I didn't take one of the mRNA vaccines. I took the Pfizer.

I will take his advice over some cretin named "dropdeadfred" who wallows in conspiracy theories.

I know many people who have said the same thing and will never get this shot.

I originally thought 75 maybe 80 percent would ultimately get the shot - I am not sure it will get that high.

And these people I know are college degree educated white collar people....not that it matters...or does it? (Edited - oh wait - are we allowed to say white collar still?)

How about this as a solution... no proof of vaccination, the insurers are allowed to bump up your premiums by 40%. Why should I be paying higher future insurance premiums so as to help cover you and your ilk being hospitalized, and/or developing Long Hauler organ damage, after repeated infections? With each new variant infection nastier than the previous one. Why should those vaccinated have to literally pay for the idiocy of the non-vaccinated, and their conspiracies? And as just posted, the masks come off, after all who wish to be vaccinated, have been. Events which have been shutdown for the past yr return. Let's accelerate the natural selection process, courtesy of Covid. If the little Freddies of the world don't care about getting infected multiple times, why should I care that they do?
