Agreed. The US Govt cannot control BTC or crypto. SEC tried to shut down XRP and scared some exchanges into dropping it as a tradeable asset yet XRP thrives outside the US.
China has all but admitted they can't control it.
Inside the US, too many big players and many jurisdictions hold BTC as an asset and/or accept BTC as payment. Politicians follow the money and the money leads back to BTC/Crypto/DeFi.
