On the contrary, the deal did reward quite a bit of percentage to the overall price valuation of this stock. It will take days and maybe even weeks for the full new valuation to come to fruition. However, the only aspect that hurts this stock is the amount of shares circulating in the overall market. That could potentially lead to discontent and dwindling interest. The company leadership would be wise to take some of the money from the deal and buy back 7-8 billion shares and retire them to make themselves more appealing for future traders and investors.
