Hi Trip, I am new to ihub and in disclosure I am long SIRC since mid Dec 2020. I have been following this board for a few months now and I like many of the member comments. I like your charts. I agree with your comments about SIRC with regards to the chart. I am keeping an open mind as to if we have seen the bottom. This is all just my lowly opinion so take it with a grain of salt.
I am using closing prices as opposed to intraday. I find closing prices to be a truer test. I feel we have bottomed but I am not 100% confident. I am confident enough that I increased my position today. After all you can't really tell until you make a bet. This is what I am using as my reasoning:
5 Feb close 2.76 High
4 Mar close 0.795 could this be bottom?
24 Mar close 0.75 I guess 4 Mar was not bottom, maybe this could be it?
8 Apr close 0.74 I guess 24 Mar was not bottom, could this be it?
19 Apr close 0.455 I guess 8 Apr was not bottom, I think this could be it. I am pretty confident, especially after close 20 Apr, today.
Volume on 5 Feb was 16.3 million shares traded
Volume on 4 Mar was 9.9 million shares traded
Volume on 24 Mar was 2.6 million shares traded
Volume on 8 Apr was 2.7 million shares traded
Volume on 19 Apr was 3 million shares traded
I like to see big volume on bottoms but it doesn't always have to be. 4 Mar had biggest volume down day. I noticed increasing volume on lower lows with 19 Apr being the highest since 24 Mar close. That gives me confidence that 19 Apr was bottom. Until we get a retest won't know for sure.
I appreciate the good work that a lot of the members here are doing and although I really don't have much to offer I hope my little observations might give some hope. And Age of Reason might not be off on what they did. I don't use charts I use volume and closing price and how the stock "behaves" if you will. I agree, how a stock "behaves" sounds like a load of bs. I can't argue against that. It does seem to work for those who are able to do it and unfortunately I am only hit or miss mostly miss.
