I think it's very possible Scotus voids whole NWS from day 1 saying illegal takings or whatever.

The remand is back the en banc court, not Sweeney court- I think it's judge Shwartz now?

Scotus remand is back to the En banc remand goes to judge Atlas for ruling on monies, etc

It would be much too difficult to try and pay based on shares because shares always being bought and sold. Most likely if any dividend is in settlement, it would be a special one time dividend to shareholders of record on that day it is announced. It would be negotiated by Collins lawyers and whoever the lower court justice is that we remand to, and then the government (FHFA & Treasury) would be involved. I dont think there is any possible way to back track for 13 years of dividends per shareholder, it would take a major accounting firm a year or more to figure out, costing too much in time and $$$

The only stock entitled for back divi’s is the Com’s. Prefs don’t.

I believe in order to settle the lawsuits, plaintiffs might get offered back dividends. Only plaintiffs.

The rest of us benefit with the end of NWS and writing down the SPS and LP to zero, and eventual end of the conservatorship. We will be valued based on earnings and equity. In other words, easily over $100.
