The investor also bears Blame for not knowing this bit of information. All the DD done on this company by many different amateur investors Didn't catch this important fact Because most here didn't even know That was standard operating procedure. When this company 1st started getting noticed, I remember somebody asking 88 energy officers about why they were getting so Much interest and volume in their operation. I think esensually they said they didn't know but it wasn't because of anything unique that they were doing to try to pump up their share price... Somebody somewhere saw the potential for a gushing oil well and started promoting it to other retail investors.
88 energy Knew they only had so long to drill in the Winter season and they also knew that depending on the weather, And given the delays from executive actions, That they may or may not get to sampling the well and doing a flow test and had already given up on trying to drill the Harriot site. Since it wasnt the management intention of actively putting out Information who's only purpose was to pump up share price. Why would it necessarily be their job to make you aware of what those in the industry and those working at that particular site already knew was the reality of their situation?
It was amateur investors that didn't understand the industry or the process or the realities of exploratory drilling That decided to Concentrate on only the information that expressed the only goal they had in mind.... To strike the stereotypical gushing oil well.
It's not like they kept that information away from investors about only having a certain time frame.... It's the fault of everybody that jumped on board not knowing the realities of how the industry worked That bears as much of the fault here as anybody else. Investors here may not like hearing that.... But most that got in on this knew from the beginning that this could very well be a boom or bust stock opportunity. Don't blame the company for you not knowing the specifics of the industry.
