First and least importantly, that is a terrible analogy.

I think it is a good analogy. I know people who watch sports and think every call should go to the team they support. Mark Cuban believes that the Dallas Mavericks would go 82-0 every year if it wasn't for the refs. Some people can't look at things objectively. Their emotions prevent it. Being emotionally attached to a stock is not good. Especially when it is a company run by unsavory types who feel no need to be honest or forthright.
