#3317 RE: ChaosMaster #3316

Wow! like I said, I was sure glad it wasn't over here in my part of MI....for some reason, the SW lower side of the state on the lake michigan side, only got freezing rain---the last 3 days have been the coldest it has been in a few years, but all of that did not stop my 80 yr old dad from driving himself to the bowling alley everyday this week!!!--the trees were stunning! My lilac tree looked like it had diamonds on it, and the big trees on my property had tiny icicles hanging down, and the picture was surreal....and beautiful...just 50 miles north they had an icestorm AND rain AND snow...50 miles east freezing rain and much colder than here, and then yesterday they got the snow to go with it...

I have been really lucky, even today, with no furnace, I have a gas stove/oven for heat, and I could boil water to hold the heat.

I watched the avalanche you folks had last week and thought it no BIG BIG deal, until I saw the big piece of equipment that looked like a toy....I am not real fond of the hairpins in CO to begin with, I get dizzy when I look down....but now I am just glad that I don;t live there---

There is some good that comes out of all that...you have just proved it! Whenever there is struggle---there is art!! created by the strugglers! You should take pictures of your turkey-topped tree, blow it up, put a frame around it, and hang it on the wall....you would have yourself an original that no one else had--unless, of course you were to license it out and sell it to those that want to remember this year...the year of the month-long blizzard!
