That is why it is tanking I think. The US opening up just takes buzz away from Canopy and gives the competition time to build their brands in a market 10x the size of Canada where they are stuck. I see this distressing situation get worse every day. It really makes me sad but they keep plowing their misguided way. Acreage was gifted with branding and formulations they could have been deploying since the deal. Instead of Tweed and Tokyo Smoke stores that built on the name, they opened Botanist stores and sold what they had in Florida. Now Canopy has to wait for the entire US to go legal before they have a chance in the thc market. They are not even branding their cbd Biosteel stuff. I just do not get it. It is like they are making an effort to fail.
