Let them react, then try to keep upping it until he can get the patient to a level where they wouldn't go into anaphylactic shock and die if introduce to say just a peanut. I agree with you, it makes sense. Everyone has been so protected and “safe” they’re now likely to be more susceptible to common diseases the body would normally fight off, from normal infections to the common cold and flu.
