Our initial focus has been to get the necessary funtionality up and running, but if you have a referral for someone who does a good professional polishing job for a reasonable price, we would be interested in talking with them. One of the reasons for the frame design that you were not impressed with is that it allows access to the other links in the left pane while the message interface is active in the main frame, all in the same browser window. The really important aspect of TMG is the signal and properly serving our subscribers, and we don't ever want to lose sight of that over fluff issues.
