I believe on the CC yesterday Nader said they hoped to file the BLA for HIV in 2 months which on Nader time probably means 4 months. He did go into it a little bit about what is taking so long so I would refer you to that as I don't remember it word for word.
My understanding is that the BLA would only give them authorization for use on HIV, not Covid. What it would do however is, assuming they have not received an EUA for Covid yet, it would give them revenue to fund these additional studies to get them up to an adequate amount of patients in Covid.
