Ground truthing means they can't recover artifacts....

so they can be clean/conserved and examined in a lab. They can EXPLORE (Exploration Permit) but they can't RECOVER (Recovery Permit).

Wouldn't it be preferable to RECOVER?

It's rhetorical.

Nice to know they have Archaeologist, Dr. Baer on board the Seafarer team.

An archaeologist is required for each project. They should understand what the permit allows and under what parameters they can work.

Maybe real shareholders that understand what an Exploration Permit allows could send him an email explaining what ground truthing means.....ie ON LOCATION (in-situ). In other words, leave those encrusted deadeyes in place and do the best you can with the examination. Or get permission from the Bureau before you attempt something else.

And others...

From the Seafarer website:

Seafarer utilizes five archeologists, two with doctorates from Oxford and Harvard, and two with over thirty years experience each in the treasure industry.
