The 47 acres was not purchased as you have stated. If you read it carefully it is a MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)....Not a done deal, but at least its a starting point.
From my experience they sometimes work, and they sometimes dont. Not a big deal either way as it is only in the MOU stage.
Hopefully it works out for both parties, but If it doesnt work out, you just keep looking to find a better fit for the company. There are many good opportunities out there.
