Pretty sure that plan was to be completed last year and up and running with production by now. Looks like KBLB isn't only one slow to prove product.

Spiber (Thailand) Ltd. held an inauguration ceremony on March 29 for its production facility currently under construction in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate. The plant, which will employ Spiber Inc.’s proprietary microbial fermentation method to produce the raw powder used to create Brewed Protein™ fibers, will be the Spiber Group’s first mass-production facility.

Trial operation of the plant will commence in the near future, with full-scale commercial production of Brewed Protein™ scheduled to begin later this year.
