There isn't a standard quiet period for annual reporting but I believe he was talking calendar days. This article should be helpful. $WDLF is not in an IPO quiet period and obviously the IPO company MJLink had a podcast last night, it is an unofficial quarterly quiet period for the parent company that's why they have not had a podcast since February 28th.

There isn't a standard length of time for unofficial quiet periods. These quarterly periods end, of course, with the earnings conference call and/or press release, but it's up to each company to determine when they begin.
