#45208 RE: JDerb #45205

Thanks JD, Re: v-Wave being BEARISH..................

The v-Wave now has 19 weeks of continuous bearish signals. Bearishness in the v-Wave hasn't always meant a 'market crash' but usually at least shows the markets stalling for anywhere from 3 to 12 months. It's going to be interesting to see how this plays out.

I'd be skeptical of the v-Wave signal if it weren't for all the other bearish signs I measure.

I've been recording all these data since the start of 1982. It's rather a rare event when all are simultaneously bearish, but that gives it all the more impact on my expectations for the markets, going forward.

Like the v-Wave, these don't usually mean the end of the world (at least so far!). It does usually mean less than stellar near term market performance. I've taken to holding off on adding new investments during such times. There's usually been a better time coming.
